The World Needs Words of Life
Stand Out Ministries has truly been blessed by the support from our brothers and sisters and Christ, and the many prayers. We have been able to link up with people from North Carolina, Kansas City, Oklahoma, and Texas just to name a few. The encouraging thing is they are all fighting to walk worthy of the Lord in all aspects of life! (Praise God!!) One thing we've notice we all agree on, is that this dying world needs to hear the words of life, and that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Some of us don't know how to approach someone and give them the gospel, maybe we haven't been properly taught in that area. Others want to, but just wish they had more material that could teach the church and at the same time reach the "unchurched." So Stand Out has started to reach in to the body, to train them to reach out to the world. We started a class that was taught in The Colony Texas called back to the basics. We were able to cover the essentials of the Christian Life beginning with defining the Gospel. To move further with this movement it has been pressed upon our hearts to produce a FREE CD that takes people through the Gospel. The CD will have 7 songs that address the following scriptures.
Romans 3.23 For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.
Romans 6.23a For the wages of sin is death….
Hebrews 9:27 And in as much as it is appointed for men to die once and then after this comes judgement,
Matthew 5.48 Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Romans 5.8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Ephesians 2:8-9 8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, that no one would boast.
Romans 10.9-10 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved' for with the hart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
The CD will include a booklet that takes the listener through each of these scriptures and walks them through the glorious Gospel of GRACE. At the same time we will include interludes between each song that aim to teach the listener how they can use this CD as a way to reach the lost. So after every track you will be able to listen in as two people "act out" a story of a Christian approaching a non-believer with this CD to share the gospel with them. We are starting off with producing a 1,000 CD's that will be passed out on the streets, at concerts, and shipped to other ministries Stand Out has worked with over the past year. We are asking for help, donations from 1.00 – 50.00 will help us greatly in reaching our goal of getting this project out before the end of this year. We have received free production, and free artwork design; now we need the money to get this CD manufactured.
